The Vathmii and the I’lah
The Vathmii, or Levels, and the I’lah, or Disciplines
All members of the Da’Mo’ś learn throughout their lives. They study the world around them. They learn oratory, work to develop their reasoning skills, study rhetorical analysis and dialectics. They study the sciences and maths, including navigation, astronomy, chemistry, biology, botany, herbal medicines and more. They are expected to understand their history and the history of the Accordance. They are expected to engage in physical training, as well.
But from birth on, the Da’Mo’ś and other members of the Accordance also undergo training in the I’Lah, or Disciplines. These Disciplines focus on the training of the Self into a Being worthy of the Accordance. They are divided into Vathmii, or levels, that all must strive to master. All are required to attain the level of Shihlda’tũś; those who wish to enter the B’hahliin or Thi’lahko’ś must complete all levels through the Empiiro’ś level.
