“I’ve written on the arts, history, business, culture, and politics for newspapers and magazines. Over the years, I found the challenge of writing poetry and short stories to be a powerful way to communicate feelings that are part of the human experience and let each reader take from it what they would. After decades of observing the human condition, I asked how things could be different if we chose to develop our knowledge, compassion, ethics and other character traits beyond tradition or the norm, which led to the deeper question of how we would be perceived by someone from another world, time and place. The Fliit Ridan world is my answer to that question.”
