AMATERASU
One of the earliest deities of Japan, Amaterasu is the Sun, the Heaven Shining Great August Spirit. The highest manifestation of the Spirit of the Universe, she is a benevolent goddess who shares her warmth with the people.

Close your eyes, turn your face upward.
Open your arms, let me pour myself out upon you,
golden warmth.
Let me call you forth to open, to bloom, even as I call forth
flowers and awaken the earth.
