I thought the memory of your face forgotten,
I thought I’d left behind those Terran years,
But now I know, with pain and hidden sorrow,
That I remember Terra, you…and tears.

I thought that I had shed forbidden feelings.
Believed I felt no need to have you near.
But now I know I’ll hear your voice forever
And see your eyes, ashine with crystal tears.

Should Time itself begin a final turning
And should I see those closing, fading years-
Know this, my friend: I never did forget you,
Remembered, always, Terra, you… and tears.
